Ever so gentle and mild-spirited. Did Jehovah God use every wonderful quality hidden deep inside me and gave them to you? I'm almost certain that is what he did. Your ear-to-ear grin, your compassion and your willingness to see the good in people. Just how do you do that my son? I don't know, but thank God, it was you Jabec.

Can two people be any closer? Forming a bond with you was easy from the start. After all, it's always been just us two. Yet, I haven't been able to detect any sign that you are damaged from lack of an extended family, but then again you rarely complain about anything. I remember when you were a baby, you didn't even cry when you were wet or hungry. I just had to know when to nurse you and when to change you.
